The parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Asante Akyim North Constituency, Hon Chief Kofi Asamoah and the executives of the party, have embarked on a community engagement tour in some communities of the constituency.
The tour which started Friday 8th March, 2024, took the parliamentary candidate and his entourage to communities such as ,Scorpion, Akoley and some areas in Agogo township.
At Akoley, Hon Chief Kofi Asamoah comensurated with the victims whose properties were destroyed by an inferno. He went ahead to donate an undisclosed somes of money to the victims.
At Agogo, our member of parliament hopeful, interacted with the market women and had a first hand information about their challenges.
He also engaged with the artisans in the area. In all the areas visited, the people gave Chief Kofi Asamoah and his team a rousing welcome and expressed their delight to see the parliamentary leader.
Similar exercise also took place on Saturday 9th March 2024 at Savour Church, Gyidim by the parliamentary candidate. Later, Hon. Kofi Asamoah had interactions with the opinion leaders of the Gyidim community. They were all happy to see the parliamentary candidate. In all, Hon Chief Kofi Asamoah resolved to work hard and with the support of the people, win the seat and bring back the NDC to power come December, 2024. He charged everyone to come on board to ensure this resounding victory.
The parliamentary candidate and his team, hope to continue his community engagement tomorrow, Sunday 10th March, 2024 which is expected to take them to communities such as PKK, Dome, Juansa, Adeɛmra and Otikrom
