The 39th National Farmers Day Celebration For The Kwahu South Municipal Assembly Was Held at Kwahu Besease.
The dignitaries for the program were Nana Owusu Akyere as the chairman, Municipal Chief Executive Hon Emmanuel Atta Ofori Senior Municipal Fire commander,Municipal Police Commander, Municipal Ambulance and Immigration officer ,assembly members and assembly staffs.
A total of twelve (12) gallant farmers in the Municipality were presented with awards.
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon Emmanuel Atta Ofori Senior in his speech thank our dependable farmers for their continued support for mother Ghana by providing effective food supply in the country at large.
Hon Emmanuel Atta Ofori Senior advice the youth to also involve themselves in farming so that unemployment rate in the country will reduce.
Furthermore the honourable MCE said the government of Ghana led by His excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufu -Addo has implemented new changes in farming where by the government will give you some money to start the business and will come back for the money after harvesting.
